Holidaymakers arriving by air on international flights are
most likely to arrive at the international terminal in Brisbane
to the north. Travellers on domestic flights have a choice of either Brisbane or Coolangatta airport at the southern end of the Gold Coast. The major airline carriers for domestic flights are Qantas and Virgin Blue and more recently, Jetstar have entered the domestic market.
